The Bhagavad Gita is a dialogue of seven hundred verses between Arjuna and Shri Krishna, set on the battlefield of Kurukshetra in the Bhishma Parva of the Mahabharata.

Its eighteen chapters move through duty, action without attachment, knowledge, devotion and the nature of the Self.

A gentle way to begin is one verse a day: read it slowly, read a translation, and return to it through the day.
